Relaxed sessions with Geoff Fisher, creating one timeless family portrait to last a lifetime. Serving Applecross and Perth’s Western Suburbs for over 30 years.

A family photo of 16 people, including men, women, and children, smiling and posing together outdoors. An older couple sits in front, surrounded by family members standing and sitting, with greenery and trees in the background. Some wear formal attire. Ideal for outdoor family photography Perth.

For more than 30 years, I’ve been photographing families across Perth’s Western Suburbs, from Applecross, Fremantle to City Beach and everywhere in between. My reputation is built on creating timeless family portraits that become a feature on the wall, not just another photo on a phone. Many local families return to me generation after generation, knowing they’ll enjoy a relaxed session and a finished portrait that reflects who they are, together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you’ll find answers to common questions about our services, the process, and what to expect during your photo sessions. Whether you’re curious about pricing, session details, or how to prepare, this section aims to provide clear and helpful information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Just get in touch and tell me a little about your family and what you have in mind. Whether you’d like photos at home, in your favourite park, or by the beach, I’ll guide you through the best options for timing, location, and what to wear.
Once we’ve settled on a plan, I’ll confirm your session with a $250 booking fee. From there, I’ll make sure everything runs smoothly—so you can just enjoy the day and look forward to seeing your portraits.
Yes—what you wear makes a real difference to the final result, and I’ll guide you with plenty of suggestions. After your booking is confirmed, I’ll send through a simple clothing guide with tips on colours, textures, and what works well together, especially for outdoor locations like Perth’s parks and beaches.
I usually recommend soft, neutral tones or complementary colours that suit your setting and help the focus stay on your faces. Avoid busy logos or clashing patterns, and strive for a coordinated look that avoids a matchy-matchy appearance.
If you’re unsure, feel free to send me photos of your outfit ideas—I’m happy to help you get it just right.
No—there’s no extra charge for big families. Whether it’s just the two of you, a group of ten, or a gathering with grandparents and cousins, I welcome all family sizes.
Pets are absolutely part of the family too. Dogs are especially welcome at many of Perth’s parks and outdoor locations, and I’ll work with you to make sure they’re included in a way that feels natural and fun. If you’re planning to bring a pet, just let me know in advance so I can prepare accordingly.
Absolutely. If you have a park, beach, or spot that’s meaningful to your family, I’ll happily work with you to plan your session there. I’ll also help assess whether the lighting, access, and background will work well for photography at the time of day you’re considering.
If you’re not sure where to go, I can suggest some favourite Perth locations that photograph beautifully—places with great natural light, space for kids to move around, and quiet spots for more intimate portraits. Together we’ll find the right setting to match your family’s personality and style.
Life happens, and I completely understand. If someone in your family is unwell or the weather isn’t suitable—especially for outdoor sessions—we’ll simply reschedule to another day that works for you. There’s no extra charge for rescheduling.
I also keep accessibility in mind when planning locations. If a family member uses a wheelchair or needs easy access, I can suggest spots that are beautiful and practical, so everyone feels comfortable and included.
To begin you pay a no-refundable deposit of $250, which is put towards your orders.  This payment secures your chosen date and time.
