The Couch family are big supporters of Conquer Cystic Fibrosis which is a volunteer-run charity focussed on research.
Over the past 20 years the charity has raised more than $5 million and supported about 40 research projects. Some of these have resulted in treatments which are used in clinical care today and that these children benefit from.
The aim of Conquer Cystic Fibrosis is to extend and improve lives by supporting research towards a cure.
While there have been great advancements in recent years, CF is still a life-shortening, burdensome genetic disease and there are more than 3500 Australian families impacted.
Please visit www.conquercysticfibrosis.com or follow the charity on Facebook for info on upcoming events.
