• I primarily photograph in beautiful parks around Perth, by the Swan River, or at one of Perth’s iconic beaches. However, I can also offer studio sessions upon request.
    • My sessions typically last between 1-2 hours, depending on the size of your family and the desired outcome. More children, dogs, and grandparents, can all add more time and complexity. Taking time for creativity is important.
    • I recommend coordinating outfits rather than matching exactly. Choose comfortable and flattering colours that complement each other and the chosen location. Best to avoid blacks in a beach setting.
    • Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, and any props you’d like to incorporate into the photos. Toys or activities can be helpful for younger children. And a lead for your furry friend.

    • It’s best to book your session at least a few weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons. A prepaid booking fee of $250 secures the date for you.
    • We’ll have a brief consultation to discuss your vision and preferences, followed by a contract and the payment of a $250 booking fee to secure your date. I will also send you a questionnaire to gather details on who will be photographed.
    • I accept various payment methods, typically including cash, and bank transfer.
    • Yes, I offer both digital and print products to suit different needs and budgets. Please explore them on my website or contact me for a detailed, personalized price list. There’s no obligation to go ahead after receiving a full price list.
    • I understand unexpected events happen! Please try to reschedule as soon as you know something’s wrong. Best to make another booking if someone is unwell.
    • Discuss clothing options with your family and choose outfits you feel comfortable and confident in. Best advice is to lay clothes out on the bed a couple of days before to see if the colours and styles work together.
    • I typically don’t offer hair and makeup services directly, but I can recommend trusted professionals in the area upon request. Don’t overdo makeup and check it in daylight, before setting out for your photoshoot.
    • I have experience working with children and use a relaxed and playful approach to capture their natural smiles and expressions. Don’t worry, we can always incorporate fun activities to break the ice. The less pressure, the better.
    • Absolutely! Pets are welcome in most locations, but please check with me beforehand to ensure it’s suitable for your chosen setting.  Bring a lead to maintain control of your dog, bearing in mind other people may walk into our area.
    • Of course! Be creative. I encourage open communication and collaboration. Feel free to share your ideas and preferences during the consultation or at the shoot itself.
    • You can typically expect your edited photos within 2-4 weeks after your photoshoot.
    • Yes, I include basic editing to enhance your photos, such as colour correction, lighting adjustments, and minor blemish removal. Additional retouching is available upon request. I often say (tongue in cheek) that I have a ‘special’ on 10 kgs this week! All you need to know is that everyone will look good in the finished photos.

NO! It is a distraction for anyone in front of my camera and I usually don’t notice wandering eyes at the time. I need to focus as do my subjects and extra cameras can be a problem.
