Over the years, I’ve photographed hundreds of families. Some arrive full of confidence, while others feel a little nervous in front of the camera. Either way, I take time to put everyone at ease, and it always works out — often with plenty of laughter along the way. Parents often tell me how much they value not just the portraits, but also the relaxed experience we shared together.
This initiative is personal to me. In 2018, I received a life-saving heart transplant at Fiona Stanley Hospital — made possible through the very research and advanced care supported by The Hospital Research Foundation Group. I’m living proof of what this work can achieve, and I’m proud to give back in this way.
